No immediate changes: For now, nothing is changing in terms of rates, services, or customer process.
Rebranding phase: The full switch from Out-of-State Rides & 715 Taxicab to Go Rural Taxi will happen gradually.
Customer Phone Calls
How calls are answered: Until the rebranding is fully complete, the dispatcher/counselor will continue to answer the phone as “Out-of-State Rides” (the familiar name customers already know).
Why: This avoids confusion during the transition and ensures repeat customers recognize they’ve reached the right company.
Future Change
Once the rebranding is finished, phone calls will be answered under the new company name Go Rural Taxi. At that point, all signage, business cards, and digital listings will align with the new brand.

Why the Rebrand?
Our company has been purchased by another cab company, with additional backing from an investment firm. With new leadership in place, the decision was made to take the business in a fresh direction with a new identity.
As part of this change, Out-of-State Rides and 715 Taxicab will be permanently retired and transitioned into our new brand: Go Rural Taxi.
This rebrand reflects our partnership and merger with another rural cab service in Wisconsin. By joining forces, we’re combining resources to better serve our communities with reliable, affordable, and professional transportation under one unified name.
Go Rural Taxi represents not just a new name, but a stronger commitment to our passengers and the rural areas we proudly serve.
Our Vision & Service Approach
Our focus is on serving the areas that often get overlooked by traditional rideshare services. We specialize in helping customers who may find themselves dropped off by Uber or Lyft in smaller towns, but need a reliable way to get back to their destination.
We don’t focus on the big cities like Minneapolis or St. Paul. Instead, we’re dedicated to serving small towns and rural communities across Wisconsin, including Hudson, Danbury, and many more.

No hidden fees or surprises — transparency is part of our promise.
Please note: our costs may be higher than traditional cab services. This is because our drivers may need to leave their home base (for example, a driver from Hudson or Danbury traveling to your location). In some cases, a travel fee may apply.
